Sew What! T-Shirt Competition Winner Announced

Congratulations to Rachael Frost for her funny dog related slogan with a twist 'Gone dogging...'

 APRIL 2008

Show Schedule Books on Sale

Here is great way to organise your agility show life! The Show Schedule Book is a beautifully designed A4, spiral bound book with clever pockets where you can keep all your show schedules, paperwork, photos and show information all neat and tidy in one place.

The 2008 book has a sturdier cover with space inside for telephone numbers and notes as well as a place for listing all your show results along with the name of the judge. Very useful.

The book is comprised of 12 pockets - one per month - each of which holds up to 10 schedules. On the pouch, there is a useful month-at-a-glance calendar.

This year we have added two new pages where you can paste up to eight pictures of your dog(s) along with their name, age, date of birth and registration number.

This book has been designed to be used by Obedience, Flyball, HTM and Breed people as well as agility handlers and so it makes an ideal present for yourself or anyone who competes in dog sports.
Roy Caller, aka Mister Fleece, has a limited number of his popular 2008 Show Schedule books left and is offering them free of charge through Agility Warehouse. These very useful, high quality books usually sell for £9.99. If you order now, all you pay is postage (£2.99) for each book.

'I would like to thank the many Agility people for purchasing my schedule books again this year and for your many kind remarks about this book. I'm very pleased that they have proved to be so useful.'

Royhas just taken stock of some new fleece throws in dog practical colours which are ideal for car seats, caravans and settees or just on the kitchen floor when your dog comes in wet. Mister Fleece will be attending agility shows in the Midlands this summer. His fleece throws and mats are also available from Agility Warehouse.

Karl is Coming

Artist Karl Pitwon is coming over from France to deliver some dog portraits and will willing take photographs of your dogs for future commissions at the following shows Tunbridge Wells, Dartford & St. Edwards and Newlands.

For more information email Karl Pitwon at karl.pitwon@aliceadsl.fr

Dangerous Dog Toy Warning

Following a recent email that is going around the agility community warning folks about a 'dangerous' kong type toy called a Busy Buddy that was being sold at Crufts this year, Premier Show Jumps would like to make it clear that they are neither the manufacturers nor suppliers of this toy.

Alan Pollock said, 'Most people will know that we only do top quality agility equipment, not toys. It is obviously another company called Premier. We did not even have a trade stand at Crufts this year.'

K9 Time has announced that its large, high visibility ringside timing display is now available for hire. Suitable for both indoor or outdoor rings, the display is a great feature for encouraging spectator excitement, and as such is specifically recommended for use at finals or championship events.

Also newly available is a table top counter as used in the world championships in Norway.

Please contact K9 Time, RVA or JDA for details. www.k9time.org

Colliewobbles at Crufts

KC International Agility Festival Schedules can be collected at Crufts from the Colliewobbles Sheepdog Shop stand in Hall 4, stand 90 - opposite RSPCA.  As well as the fantastic Border Collie merchandise, there will also be for the first time at Crufts a huge range of the Beauty of the Beasts Agility and Dog themed T-shirts from the USA including some brand new designs just released for 2008.

A Message from Premier

Premier Show Jumps & Agility Services wishes to apologise to its loyal customers and good friends for not having a trade stand at Crufts 2008. Staff, however, will be in attendance ringside if you are interested in equipment etc.

Alan Pollock said, 'See you at Mid Downs and Easter where it will be business as usual.'

During the Crufts period, Premier usually has some super discounted items on offer. This year they have brought in various coloured tubes and other items which will be available direct. For more information ring tel. 01342 842454 or email sales@premier-agility.co.uk

Adams Agility Is On the Move

Adams Agility is in the process of moving to new premises - over the Staffordshire borders not far from their current address - and will be changing its phone number. In the meantime, customers can still reach Chris Adams on his mobile which is 07970 861826 or, during weekdays office hours, by calling Les Wills on 07979 411954.  JANUARY 2008

RVA Becomes JDA
A Joint Statement from RVA & JDA

From RVA

As from 1 January 2008, the ownership of RVA Equipment Hire will pass from Ray and Val Amps to Dave Timms and James Greenhow of JDA.

We will continue to take bookings for K9Time and 2 Way Radios just as before and will pass on any equipment bookings. All current bookings have been passed to Dave and James for 2008. We see this as a seamless operation with co-operation between all parties.

A huge thank you to all that have supported us during the last few years and particularly to our group of friends and ‘scrubbers’ who have been there to help unload, load and wash down in some of the most inclement conditions.

RVA will continue to manufacture equipment for sale and, as agents for K9Time and Alvah Jump Cups, will still be present at many shows.

We wish Dave and James the very best in their new venture and offer our continued support to them and to the shows where they are booked as equipment suppliers.

From JDA

Firstly we would like to thank Ray and Val for their support in our new venture. We plan to offer the same high level of service that they have always given. We are now taking hire bookings, and can also arrange K9Time and 2 Way Radio hire for you.

Please do get in touch if you have questions regarding the changeover and we look forward to seeing you at the shows

More information can be found at our new website: www.jda-agility.com. Or you can contact us at: enquiries@jda-agility.com Tel: 01462 612563. James – mobile:  07812 430895 or Dave on mobile: 07901 602227
