Chi - OBay Truly Focused
Vote for Chi

Canon, The Assignment

Obay grand-daddy Dennis Bay has submitted a photo of Sheltie Chi (Obay Truly Focused) to a European competition. Naturally we think the agility entry should win and would very much appreciate your assistance in this matter.

The photo of Chi jumping was submitted to the Canon web site by uploading it direct. It's now time for then public to vote. Canon's professional judge will then select the finalists from the most popular entries. Best-in-category finalists will be chosen by country. The finalists then compete for a place on a prestigious photographic assignment.

Your vote for Chi the Sports category would be greatly appreciated. Follow the link to register and vote. Voting will be open until 6 June 2008. Thanks.

Radio Times

Who's that handsome agility dog on the cover of the Radio Times with Ben Fogle. Yes, it is Acecliffe Star Guy. There are four  different covers, celebrating the stalwarts of Crufts over the past 57 years, so if you want to support the agility dog, chose the poodle in big. The location was in the old Sunbeam Talbot works in the showroom which had been converted to a studio - very posh compared to some that we go to.

If you have digital, the BBC are transmitting the whole of the Saturday afternoon programme which will include the Pairs Relay. Just press the red digital button... however that works!'

You've Been Framed

For those of you who could do with a laugh at the mo, there is an agility clip on You've Been Framed this week, starring Emma Arnold of Aylesbury CTS, and Amber. It's on Saturday, 4 December, (5.25pm on ITV1.)

From Jill Spurr...
Actually, having landed on my [[censored]] more than once, I think if we tried, we could probably have a whole programme dedicated to our safe family sport!

First seen on the Agility Forum

Blue Peter

Having won the title of Scruffts Champion 2004 at Discover Dogs (Earls Court), nine year old Ashleigh Butler and her crossbreed Buffy, appeared on Blue Peter which went out live at 5.00pm. That's Ashleigh and Buffy with the Blue Peter presenters just as they were about to perform their task.

The three Scruffts dogs had to compete against the three Blue Peter dogs by doing some simple tests. The Scruffts dogs won 3-0.
